HISTORY
South Central Youth Limited (SCY) was formed in 2005, by a local resident who was concerned by the number of youth murders in the area. The service was established to reduce the frequency of youth murders in the local area.

SCY have been based in two venues in the Brixton area since November 2007. In January 2008 SCY received an OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT AWARD from Save the Children "in recognition of outstanding services to children, in that this group has done the most to improve children's lives in their community, especially those suffering from particular disadvantage".

SCY received huge support from the local communities and work with large numbers of children aged 8-19 years. SCY recently received charitable status in 2009. Registered number 1129397.
